Title: Cactus vase?

I would appreciate knowing a little bit more about this vase.  There is only one other online and it doesn't have any information included.  It seems to have the form of a globular cactus, possibly a mamillaria, in flower.  It is 13cm tall x 18cm wide.  I thought Holmgaard because of the applied (?) glass (please let me know if I get the terminology wrong)??

Holmegaard can be firmly discounted.

They're usually attributed to early Venini production, but this seems unlikely.

I'd take a punt on Empoli, personally.

My bet is Gordiola. In fact I'm petty sure of it. Bernardo Gordiola, circa 1960s

I have never seen one with a Venini acid stamp...
