Title: Bottle with prunt (?) - pls put me in the right direction
Post by: Joscyn on July 14, 2013, 12:47:18 AM
I would like to know where this comes from.  I am learning a lot from this site.  Is the applied glass called a "prunt"?  It is 20cm tall.

Italy. These are the standard bottles for serving wine at the table in restaurants - 1/4 1!2 or 1/1 litr.  The hand made vrsions come in green and blue, and were produced somewhere in or near rome; the mechanical ones are from Bormioli if I'm not mistaken. Mind you, I also have one from Mdina.... fwiw
