Title: chinese scrambled paperweight with flower cane any info please

hi
i have seen quite a few of these but can not remember seeing one with a flower cane. is it rare and around 1930s made.
thanks for looking and any info gratefully recieved

Hi.

The little rose cane frequently appears at the edge of a different design of Chinese paperweight which has a stylised tree with two rather simple bird canes. My feeling is that yours dates to more like 1950 than 1930: earlier scrambles do not have quite such vivid colours, and sometimes include some more complex canes.

I think it is relatively unusual to find a rose cane in a scramble. Not sure it does much to increase the value though.
