Title: Amoeba Candleholder - ID = Tiffin, USA
Post by: SantaR on July 27, 2013, 05:37:08 PM
Good morning

I have a heavy clear glass candleholder for four narrow candles in an organic shape.  It is 37cm long and 23.5cm in width. It is 5cm deep and has plenty of wear on the base. I really have absolutely no idea where this is from.  Can anyone help?

Many thanks!

You have a Tiffin flower float bowl #5905-20 missing the silver candles & crystal deer figurine. I took a quick pic of the Deer you are missing. The gray is a rubber gasket is used on the glass peg so it can stand securely.

Thanks Ohio!!!!

Although I am open-mouthed in amazement at the oddity of the complete thing having Googled it.  Each to his own, I suppose ???  I really must stop buying glass that I don't recognise.

Many thanks for your help, again.

Santa

Summit Art Glass had this mold since 1982 (purchased at the factory R auction) & when Russ Voglesong passed his family sold all his molds. Evidently it ended up there.
