Title: Cameo glass vase, kinda crude but beautiful grecian figures

Hi all,
   I posted this on the PGP board on the bay, thought I might throw it up here and see if anyone could tell me the age and maker?  THanks for looking!!!

wow stunning!

both Harrach and Riedel made very similar cameo vases in the late 1890s

That should enable you to search further I'll check my resources too!

any chance of a close up of the cameo 'cutting' edge of  the cameo - that's often a good way to spot the maker

Hi

Having been through a lot of Harrach and Riedel pictures -I left wondering if the quality of this is good enough. I can't really tell from the pictures.

Hopefully Brian or Alica will stop by they are the best on these two makers.

I think its that period,  c1899ish but I can be certain of maker.

Hi

yes quality up close probably doesn't look good enough for Harrach or Riedel  (harrach cameo edges are quite distinctive)- probably someone imitating their style but same period ie just before 1900.  It's still nice!
