Title: just dug out some of my lamp collection

just spent a few hours this morning going through boxes upon boxes of bubble wrapped Ysart glass to change my shelve display, so heres what im going to be using , once ive drilled some new holes in the shelf and rewired them all so they will all light up , excuse the cable and plugs as I just set them out to see how they would look,  pre war Monart mushroom is colour code 364,

an unusal Vasart lamp similar to monart shape A but with foot, bargain bootsale find £1.50

Vasart mushroom lamp, these lamps are quite rare , that's eight lamps on the shelf now so I hope it stays up

I do have more mushroom and unusal Ysart lamps but no room to display, maybe look them out the next time I decide to change the display ;D

I too can spare some shelf space if you're struggling! Love the colours of the very first one you posted, blues and gold. Just gorgeous. Lovely collection.  :P

What a great selection of Ysart lamps there Gary, I particulary like the Vasart mushroom lamp.

lol I cant afford the electricity to light them all due to buying too much glass ;D

Funnily enough, it's the "cost of electricity" Michael uses to disallow me from lighting my display at all.
He seems quite determined that I should live in the dark.

We still have some of the early "energy saving" bulbs in use. The kind you need to wait 15 minutes for them to warm up before they finally emit a dull glow. The sitting room plafont requires 5 bulbs. It is only permitted 2!
