Hi Frank, do you think http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7410596540 on EBay is Paul Ysart?

Hi Alastair,

Frank's view will be appreciated.

But for myself I'd say it was from a later Caithness item as none of the canes seem to be Paul Ysart work to me (or even Pater Holmes' work). The bright colours don't look right, nor do the large plain centres.

Certainly not an Ysart so I agree with Kevin. That seller often does this but he does have good things too. Looks to be scratched on top and I never knew that spherical applied to flattened spheres :o  It seems to have been bid higher then the later jewellery sells for, probably it is one of the post 1980's from a steel jewel - so by taking off the jewel he has done OK with the bids so far!

Thanks both. You confirmed Norah's doubts.

I sent Robert a mail advising his error but he has not updated the auction. Perhaps why he has it as a private auction!
