Hi everyone!
I am completely puzzled about a clear glass bowl I recently bought.
It is clear satin glass with a pansies design around it that reminds me a Czech Barolac design but also looks like french glass.
I attach some photos.
Thanks in advance!
Hugo

Possibly Schwieg, Mueller & Co. of Germany

Hi Hugo, Just to mention since coming across my other version of this bowl in the linked thread above, I did also manage to find another variation of this bowl with exactly the same pansy design, this time with a chrome stand, unmistakably from the same production house.
I must have seen at least 4 of these bowls in at least 3 different variations by now, with exactly the same pansy design over the last few weeks. Interestingly all have been located in France, so, I think I may lean very slightly towards France as the country of origin for the time being. However, as Christine suggested the Schwieg Mueller & Co 'Roses' bowl does also look very similar indeed, so the jury is out on this one for the time being, until a firm attribution comes along, hopefully, in the near future. I'll keep my eyes peeled in the mean time to see if I can spot any others.

Hola Hugo,
wish to confirm Greg's information: lately one of my visitors who is quite knowledgable in French Art Déco Glass attributed this pattern to France also - possibly D'Avesn.

Finally managed to find another example with this moulded pansy pattern as previously mentioned with the chrome stand. So that makes at least 3 variations in this pattern, unfortunately, no exact maker suggested, apart from also thought to originate in France. I quite like this particular variation, I think all three would look quite good as a group.
