Title: New Purchases Thread. Reincarnation of the ebay purchases one!
Post by: pooleandpaperweights on August 15, 2013, 09:46:03 AM
Well, to get this going again, and also expand it to anything you've brought, I will start it with what I consider a true bargain.

One of the best Selkirk's you can buy in the flesh, and yes I do own one already, but at £17 including postage I couldn't resist another Selkirk Saturn weight, limited edition, PH cane, 1982 early one :)

Yes, I agree Ian: Saturn by Peter Holmes is always a good buy...

Here is my Ebay bargain.... Although the image was poor, I thought I recognised a Harland crown:

Anyway at that price, there was not much to loose. It has arrived and it is lovely (and in perfect condition). It has a nice red translucent core and will go in my collection to complement my other Harland crown that I already own.
