Title: DECANTER I.D HELP!!!!! - ID = Dartington

Hi please can you help me identify this decanter it is 10 inches with stopped inserted tall and has a circular potil to base, it is pewter smoky colour, need help of maker, age and where abouts it was made all you experts would be lifesavers ??? ??? ???

Your decanter was made by Dartington, designed by Frank Thrower, it is pattern number FT44. Designed in 1968 and probably made in this colour for a few years, after which most production was switched to clear glass only.
