Title: ID for Mid-Century Cocktail Glasses
Post by: bengry on August 22, 2013, 08:39:32 PM
HI There,

I'm hoping to learn more about a couple glasses I've collected. I'm hoping that they are mid-century cocktail glasses, but I really don't know anything about them. They are not exactly identical as one has a slightly different sized base.

In a couple years of keeping an eye out, I've only found the two. And searches for online sales, images and guides haven't turned up much either. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated as I'd love to learn more about them and hopefully round out my set too.

Justin

I think these are fairly modern, i.e., late 20th C. I see these quite often and at first distant glance they look like the Ravenhead Apollo range designed by Annette Meech, but they are not.

Looks the right size and shape for sherry glasses circa 1970s
