Hi, this orange vase with a gilt coloured flower holder is one of the items I am still trying to I/D. It has a fluted body 5.250 inches tall and 5.50 inches dia. Fire polished base and ware marks . I am thinking bohemian but not sure. The colour is bright orange and not the yellow orange on the images.
Many thanks

....and I think Keith is correct too.....LOL
I think these are called POSY VASE as I have a couple also. See HERE (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,45224.msg252426.html#msg252426) and HERE (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,44308.msg246861.html#msg246861) as Keith has some and other members too. Some Good reading there too.
My guess would be that it was made 1930's // 1940's era.
Also See Wayne's site **HERE (http://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/bohemian_glass/tango_glass.htm)
Would be nice to start a topic for the *designs* of the metal frogs on them.....to see if then certain makers did focus on certain Metal frog design......or just a reference for the designs of the metal frogs used on these. Just a thought....
