Stands 4.5", 4" accross top and 3" accress bottom aprox, I was told it might be Ysart

Definitely a Ysart vase, most likely from the Monart period rather than the Vasart period. The shape code is OE colour code 162 if it is Monart.

It might be, but with a piece this small and with the button over the pontil scar, it might well be Monart, although I'm not overly happy about the way the green seems to be put in - it looks a little blobby to me and the clear backgound is unusual.
Hang around a while - somebody else who knows a lot more than I do will be along shortly to help you. :)
Whoops! cross-posting and I read Vasart for Ysart in the title. Thanks, Gary for your vastly superior-to-my comments. ;D

Oh thank you both so much, such quick replies think I'm going to sell this on eBay I have been using it as a drinking glass, it holds a good dram but is a bit heavy Cheers Heather :)

I hope you have not been putting it in the dishwasher! ;)
