Title: Green and White Draped Decor Ewer with Pressed Portrait Cameo Stem ID? Italian?
Post by: obscurities on September 05, 2013, 01:34:57 PM
I know, at least I think I know, that I have seen pieces like this on here before but can not find them.

I was discussing this with a seller and he gave me permission to use his pics and post the item here for discussion and ID.

My recollection is that these pieces are Italian in origin, but that is all I can remember.

This piece stands at 15.5 inches tall, and about 6 inches wide.

Am I going crazy, or is this Italian as my memory is telling me. If it is, a company name, or names would be great!!

TIA

Craig

I have always assumed Empoli for these. I quite often see opalescent and blue examples here, usually quite big pieces.

Just a bump to see if there is any other info available on these at all?

Craig I've seen quite a few of this type of glass labeled Empoli over the years but the only thing I've run across is in the URL below & not sure how valuable it is. Ken
