Title: possible Kosta Boda (Swedish) drinking glass.
Post by: Paul S. on September 06, 2013, 02:14:40 PM
a modern piece, despite having some older design features - not remotely my area, but am aware that Kosta produced similar designs in the C20 (and earlier of course) - including the use of gilt decoration (probably gilt coloured on this one)  -  so possibly a Swedish item, but could be wrong.

Small at only 3" (75mm) tall, and quite a bright  white colour.         The flat flutes, the stem and entire foot have been ground/polished - and same with the depression under the foot.        Has a longish, but high pitched ring, and might be for liqueur, schnappes or similar.           It was only a few pennies, and couldn't remember seeing similar before.

thanks for looking and hope this rings a bell with someone, who might also know the age  :)
