Title: Large heavy vase ID needed

Here is a very heavy - 14 inch high vase - submerged green and yellow with red twist - any ideas.

Given the lovely spiral in it, perhpas Beranek should be considered first.  :)

Although I think I've seen the spiral copied by contemporary Chinese mkaers. :'(

I hope it's not Chinese - it is very heavy and has a lovely feeling of quality. It's well executed.

It looks far better quality in the second pic than it does in the first, Adam.
You have the advantage of having your sticky mitts on it. But the colour of the base (in the second pic) does look very "topaz-y" - in line with Czech colours for glass.

Is the base finish nicely polished, or kind of foggy or cloud looking....  Matte....

The base is finely finished but slightly matte.

For me, that style of base finish would point to China and not to Beranek, or Czech glass.
