Title: ID needed for angular pressed vase
Post by: Nikki-Jane on September 15, 2013, 04:48:49 PM
Hello all, I'm hoping you can help me out....

I picked up this pressed glass vase with a very angular pattern on it. It's about 7 inches high and about 4 inches across the mouth. I have seen something similar in a drawing (possibly out of a cataloge) marked 'Lyon', but I've also seen them ID'd as Sklo Union (though it doesn't look like it to me). Any ideas? It's green, but I don't think it's uranium.

Thanks everso,

Nikki

I have this vase and I have it identified as Lyon by Walther c.1965 (More precisely VEB Sachenglas) and VLG also have it as Lyon in their 1969 Lausitz catalogue
