Title: French gold gilt shot/cherry glasses - ID = verrerie mécanique Champenoise

Hi, Purchased these cute little shot/cherry glasses during the week and unable to find any information about them other than what is marked on the base.   The markings read 'Made in France' and within a embossed shield, what looks like the letters MC.   The gold gilt textured overlay is yellowish when compared to the other bands.  This could be be due to the light reflection or the quality of gold.    I have no idea of period or manufacturer and your help is very much appreciated.,

Hi Ivo,  Every possibility!   I will see what I can find out.    Whilst on the subject matter, I came accross this site that does have a cocktail shaker with a similar design.   I'm wondering if this should be part of a set.   Any ideas of period?
