Title: ID Frosted bowl & dog lid
Post by: Keencollector on September 28, 2013, 06:02:24 AM
Re-arranging my display cabinets and have a few items that I have never managed to find a manufacturer or date.  If any members have any information on my posts I would greatly appreciate this.

This pedestal bowl has three feet, being dogs heads and a bowl that has a brick or woven pattern with a vine.  Lid also has the same pattern but with the dog on top.  Measurements are 8 1/2 inches high and six inches wide at top rim of bowl.  No manufacturers marks.  This is quite a heavy piece.

Additional photo of pedestal lidded bowl.  Glass is a greyish colour and looks lightly frosted.  My camera isn't the best.

Hi Margaret

I think your bowl may be French  Vallérysthal . Pamela has a similar item on her website.
