I recently found this paperweight and originally thought nothing about it. Upon closer observation, I realized that it has some unique qualities which sparked my interest to learn more. I've attached three pictures (front, side and bottom). The weight is 2.1 lbs.
If you could please help me identify this paperweight, I would appreciate it. I welcome any suggestions on how to narrow down my search of the origin.
Thank you!!!

Any information would help..such as the types of designs in the paperweight (I'm not sure of the correct terminology to describe the detailing in the weight) to accurately research this item.

Hi and welcome!
I'm sure somebody will know - it's quite a distinctive style, I'm sure similar has cropped up here before.
I take it the picture inside it is most likely a print of some sort -I would doubt it's painted enamels.
Pwts are not my area, but there are loads of experts on them here. Somebody will be along who knows. Just have a little bit of patience, not everybody pops in every day. :)

Thank you, Sue!

Hi. I am fairly sure this is a Murano paperweight: they made a range of these printed designs with a cane garland in the 1970 - 2000 period.

Thank you so much, Alan!

Yes, have seen several of this type and decent Murano is my analysis also. Cocker spaniel is another picture and hot air balloon is another.

Thank you, Roger!
You all have been very helpful!

Okay...now I have another question. Being a complete novice when it comes to this, would this be worth selling? I see so many others with a great amount of detail. With the printed design, does that typically lower the potential selling price? I'm not even sure this is something I would like to sell but it's always good to know my options and to be realistic about it.

Hi.
The policy of this board is not to offer valuations. If you send me an email I will tell you what I have sold similar pieces for, and what you might expect to get.
