Hi,
This is a vase I purchased at Carmarthen flea market recently. I loved the colours and following some Web investigation thought it might be a piece of Lindshammar glass and if so probably designed by Gosta Sigvard. A good friend of mine suggested it might be a Jan Gabrhel creation but I am not really any wiser. I hope someone on this board can positively identify it as I'm slowly wearing my computer out!
Thanks,
Bryn

It looks to me to be a lovely Zbigniew Horbowy piece (Poland) c.1970s or 80s.
Edited to add: Here are some photographs of Horbowy designs: Zbigniew Horbowy (http://klublekarza.oil.lodz.pl/index.php?lang=3§ion=article&option=content&id=71)

Hi Anik,
Thanks, I've just googled his name and revealed some super pieces some in similar colour combinations.. I noticed from one of your earlier listing on the Message board that you have a book on this Artist. Is there anything similar in that book please.
I should have added a base photo which I should have realised was important. There is no pontil just an unpolished mould pattern. I will try and post a base photo tomorrow.
Thanks,
Bryn

Hi Bryn,
This exact shape is not in my book, but then again, it only addresses a fraction of Horbowy's wonderful designs.
Oddly, when it comes to (designer) Polish glass, there is no standard base finish. I have seen Horbowy pieces with a highly polished and flat base; with a neat, polished, concave center; with a smoothed pontil mark; and with a rough pontil mark.
I am 95% certain your vase is Polish. The GMB is filled with very knowledgable collectors -- If no one is able to come along to say it's from another country and designer, then I'll be 99% satisfied that it is a Horbowy design.
Anik :)
