A low domed Old English Paperweight, my first thought was Arculus .
Measures very approx 3.6" in diameter and 1.7" in height.
Large polished pontil.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Roy.
The canes look more like Richardson (or unknown) than Walsh Walsh / Arculus, but I am not 100% sure, as some are rather unusual. I don't think that Richardson made any low domed paperweights - but they did make a lot of inkwells that become fairly low domed paperweights after restoration following damage...and the concave polished base is unusual for Old English. So my feeling is that it is a repolished Richardson inkwell.

Hi Alan
Thank you for your reply. I would have never thought of it as possibly being a restored inkwell when I bought it. If you are correct and it is a restored inkwell are they still collectible or are people put of from buying such items.
I did notice this morning when using a UV light that there is only a very slight green glow but the one single cane with the green centre in the 4th picture is uranium and glows very brightly , I will try and add a picture of that later.
Thanks again Alan for your help
