Post by: Novasonic on October 26, 2013, 03:58:44 PM
Hi,

I went to a fair this morning & picked up a couple of nice quality paperweights quite cheap.  it's not really my area & I am struggling to I'd these myself.......

Paperweight 1

This one is 3.25" diameter & 2" high with 6 outer canes of Cockerel / rooster design with a controlled bubbles between the canes

The base is flat & polished.

Paperweight 2

This one is 2 3/4" diameter & 2.5" high.

Packed flower like canes on a bed of multiple colours.  A flat polished base also.

There are no makers marks as far as I can see.

Can anyone, please help ?

Thanks

Rob

hi
you would be better off putting these in the paperweight section and make a separate message for each weight

Hi.  I think that both are Murano pieces, so they should not have been very expensive.  Incidentally, the Cockerel is a symbol associated with Murano.
