Title: Triple cased freeform ashtray
Post by: Anne E.B. on October 30, 2013, 03:42:31 PM
Any thoughts about this one would be much appreciated.  The colour is quite amazing.  I was convinced that it was uranium glass, and told so when I bought it, but much to my surprise it isn't, so presumably it contains manganese instead ???  It appears to be triple cased, i.e. clear/green/yellowy green. The latter appears to be a little milky looking.  I think it might be Chalet Glass or possibly Chribska as they are the nearest I can find.   It has three pulled lobes at the top, and the base has six pointy lobes.
Thank you in advance for any ideas/comments :)
