Just out of curiosity, here is a picture of an Iittala Balladi lantern (desin Jorma Vennola) I picked up today. When putting it next to one that was already there I noticed the thickwalled one has a sticker; the thinner walled one is slightly different in design.
According to the book these were made in 1984 and 1985 and 1984-1991 in heights 70, 80 and 85. There is also a footed version of 210 mm height.
The blatant rip-off on the right where the windows turn gothic and creepy weeds and lichens cover the walls was made by Bohemia - it seemed fitting to haunt you with this image on this halloween evening....

As long as you are not starting on yuletide stuff before we've had Guy Fawkes night, you can show what you like, Ivo.
;D

Nothing yuletide about these votives - not quite sure where this association stems from ...

I was referring to the Bohemian one.
I think my glasses need both cleaned and changed into a pair that allow me to focus better - I thought the "hallow'een" one looked a bit "holly and ivy" around the windows... getting towards the commercial december holiday and it is far too early to be mentioning that. ;)
I can't see lichen or creepy weeds at all.
Halloow'een isn't really an event here.
We have fireworks displays on November 5th, Guy Fawkes night. That is much more fun.
