Post by: auliya on November 01, 2013, 04:49:54 AM
I have been unable to find a maker for these, and am hoping someone on here will be able to help, as is often the case :-)

thanks in advance

As far as I am aware, still no positive attribution at the moment but sometimes found accompanying Anne’s Mystery Set 15 trinket sets (similarly, still waiting for definitive ID).

See Anne’s GTS site at http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=165:mystery-set-15&catid=28:mysteries&Itemid=52

There have been several discussions about the Mystery Set 15 trinket set (and the branched candlesticks), but the GMB research facility seems reluctant to disgorge them for me at the moment.

The branched candlesticks are certainly already known in green uranium glass and amber glass, but I think this is the first time that I have seen them in blue, and Anne shows other parts of the set in a matching blue.

Incidentally, the type of candlesticks more usually found with the set are single, short, and stubby (a bit like the description of some of my acquaintances) with a floral stem (no comment!). See attached photos.
