Title: Need some help with ID (first weight) ID = Strathearn
Post by: jessculter on November 04, 2013, 08:17:15 PM
Hi folks,

Just joined but have been lurking a while.

Have a fair collection of weights, some nice, some not so good. Have a couple which are a mystery to me and need some help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi James, and welcome to GMB.

This is a Strathearn from 1980/1981.

Thanks guys. I knew I could rely on someone here to ID them.

I'll start some research now I have some excellent leads.

Hi James

For the record really, but here are images of two 1980 Strathearns of broadly similar design to yours that I had in the past.

Did actually toy with the idea of Vasart for the first one but bottled it and plumbed for the safer option  :)

Interesting pics there Alan. Can certainly see the resemblance with my weight.

Apologies Kevin.

Thanks for sorting out.
