I can not figure out this signature on this small pot at all so was hoping someone here may be able to help .
Has a rough pontil and base shows age wear .
4 1/2 cm high x 8 1/2 cm wide
Below this signature is either NZ N3 N2 or ZN
Many thanks in advance , Dave from Ireland .

I reckon a definite NZ. Try http://newzealandglass.blogspot.com.au/ where Stuart Park runs a blog. He is very knowledgeable.

Yes, it's NZ all right, a nice example of the kina (Māori name for sea urchin) vases made by Amanda Angus in New Plymouth in the 1990s. The signature says A Angus.
I have had an email from Dave directly also, so I will respond to him offline as well.

Here is a photo of two of Mandy's kina forms from my collection. These are rather squatter than yours, and perhaps more typical of those I have seen. These are not signed or dated, as many of her pieces are not, but I purchased them new, identified as being her work, from a studio glass gallery in Napier (North Island NZ) in January 1998, so presumably they were made in 1997
