Hi All,
I've got a pair of these that came with a large lot of paperweights bought at auction, they are lead crystal with undercut open interiors. With controlled bubbles and star cut base.
Can anyone confirm if they are inkwells? They seem like they could be Whitefriars to me but I cannot find a match. Although I say a pair, one has a larger internal red section than the other
Both 94mm diameter and 60mm tall, 3 5/8" x 2 1/4"

Possibly Richardsons, there is a passage in one of C.Hajdamachs books stating that they made match holders with controlled bubbles sometimes with internal colours, have quite a few of these, some have feet some not, although I've not seen one with a star cut base, yet, ;D

Thanks both for your replies, Keith your match holders do look strikingly similar (pun intended)
