Title: Clear Bubble Glass Vase: MID CENTURY: need help ID
Post by: robertglass on December 07, 2013, 10:58:46 PM
[Mod: This thread has been created from two similar threads and the posts have been tidied up.]

This vase has a hole in the middle, uneven rim, thick glass, unmarked, with small bubbles everywhere. No idea at all who could be the maker. Measures about 6.5" tall and 8" wide, base has concave precise circle and no pontil mark. The bubbles are uneven. Very heavy. Can anyone help??? maker, info??? So grateful!!

I had one like it in blue that I bought from Ross Dress for Less a few years back and I see them come up sometimes on Ebay.

Well, Ross sells the same type of thing as TJ Maxx, so I imagine mine was certainly Chinese.

Or Polish as Ivo said (not everything in TK/TJ Maxx is Chinese). It looks more Polish than Chinese and like a nice modern decorative item
