Title: German Auction
Post by: Nick77 on December 09, 2013, 11:00:04 AM
Did anyone see what lot 211 made at Kunstauktionshaus Schlosser GmbH & Co. KG in Babberg Germany on Saturday?
A heck of a lot more than the 240 euro estimate I'm sure.

Hi Nick

As underbidder (yet again), I am not sure it was a good deal: I would say an okay deal.  A UK bidder would be paying around £4000 for the lot.  To get your money back and a fairly modest profit the big Clichy garland would need to make around £3000, which would be a pretty strong price in my view.
