Title: Mod 1960s/1970s Cased Smoke Glass Drink Glasses
Post by: horochar on January 15, 2014, 04:23:36 AM
These glasses are surprisingly heavy (lead crystal?) and are really fine quality.  Great design, in my opinion.  I have never seen anything like them.  I'm guessing they may be Scandinavian or Italian, circa late 1960s or 1970s.  Any help would be appreciated.

´Las Palmas´ range by Gralglas. I´ll look for the details when I´m back from work...  :)
These came in various sizes as drinking glasses and vases.

Indeed! Thanks.  Roland Posch, 1965. Here's one in a different color, http://www.glaskilian.de/Gral-Glas-Vase-LAS-PALMAS-Entw.994+B6YmFja1BJRD05OTQmcHJvZHVjdElEPTI2NTIzJnBpZF9wcm9kdWN0PTk5NCZkZXRhaWw9.0.html

Was very early here when I wrote. Obviously I have photographed a few of mine also:

Simple but effective design and a nice quality IMO.  :)
