Post by: pugster on January 19, 2014, 09:10:18 AM
yet more help needed (im starting to sound like a broken record) , this is the last piece that was in the lot i bought that i dont know about  (the very last piece i know what it is as it has a label  :D)

this jug measures just over 11" tall at it highest point , no identifying marks i can see and it has a concave ground pontil mark on the base.

I have 2 of these, a grey smokey and a teal one. Not exactly the same,  I've just checked - the bottoms of the handles on mine have "curls" as well as the upright at the top above the blob.
Jugs are notoriously difficult to id and despite this being a very distinctive one, to my knowledge, we don't know the maker yet. I would think that, despite the slight difference, the blob and the upright part of the handle on the right shape of jug indicate the same maker.
I would strongly suspect Polish.
