Title: small, light blown vases
Post by: david31162 on January 19, 2014, 10:53:40 PM
I know i shouldn't post two but these were bought at the same time and i feel must be by the same maker. Both are so thin walled and light.
The tallest is 16cm the short one is 9cm.
Can anyone help with ID ?
Thank you,
 David

They are lampworked. The one on the right was made by Ed Iglehart, not sure about the other.

It could also have been made by Tom Iglehart, Ed's son. I'm not always sure with work from Palnackie, who exactly made things.
Ed did do a fair number of training courses for students too.
I found a tall pink mushroom recently, with a surface texture similar to this little vase.
