Looks like a scavo type of finish but I don't recognise the signature.

Hi, Sorry my typo, although, I don't think there's an 'i' at the very end it should be Carlo Molin, I believe....

That's great, thanks for the help, any idea how old the piece might be? Thanks...

Hi, There doesn't appear to be much available info around I can see immediately at hand regarding Carlo Molin. There are a handful of other pieces I can see online, however, none have any references regarding date. If I were to purely speculate, I would think they are likely to be relatively modern, and could have been produced any time in the last 15  years or so, however, I am open to correction on this. If you do find an accurate date I would interested to know.  :)

Probably not much help, however, interestingly, just came across the below example on the following auction listing/website, please see (Lot number 455)

http://www.ukauctioneers.com/auction_houses/369/sales/5209?page=19

Unlike many of the other examples I have seen, there is another mark on the base of this one, if you look at the second photo for lot 455. There is a logo and wording, which whilst I'm not 100% sure I think it reads 'Antichi Arte'. I believe this translates to something like 'Ancient Art', so would  lead me to infer probably a more modern piece, taking inspiration from an older style.  Regarding the logo, on reflection, I think this is probably, just 2 capital letter A's for Ancient Art. Hope this a little.
