Title: Perhaps Strathearn or Vasart
Post by: glassobsessed on February 13, 2014, 02:56:55 PM
I was confident in Scottish when I bought it but I am having trouble deciding on a maker. It is 3" in diameter and with a fire polished base.
Is it possible to say for sure with this one?

John

Wild stab in the dark here, because I'm clueless about weights, but I reckon Strathearn.
I wait to be shot down by those who do know.

I would lean towards Strathearn but it might be late Vasart Ltd.

That is great, my thanks to you both.

Sue are you knowledgeable about paperweights without even realising? ;D

No, but Vasart didn't have access to many brightly coloured enamels, and you have a lot of bright colours in there.  ;)
