Hello all
I bought this large heavy glass gondola shaped bowl today.
Reminds me of Verlys but I am sure it could be Jobling?
Has anyone seen this before at all?
Thanks in advance

Absolutely Jobling and very nice! :)
It's a 2-Handled Oval Jardiniere, catalogue number 11100. Here's another photo of one from my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kingofbananas/4423305742/
According to the catalogue they were offered in a range of colours, however the only examples I've seen have been either opalique or jade. They were one of the more expensive pieces originally and are consequently quite scarce.

Hi Steven
Wow thanks for the info! I was a bit confused as the opalescence looked quite thick in this and from the bowls my mum has of Joblings opalescent they are quite watery in look so thats why I wondered Verlys.
I couldn't resist it as it was such a great bargain also was wowed by how heavy it was.
