Title: Murano opaline (Alabastro?) pink/white fish
Post by: rocco on February 22, 2014, 12:34:11 PM
Nice fish, opaline or alabastro (I am never sure with these terms).
21 cm long, 17 cm high. Solid body, generic label.

Any idea of maker? - Pieces in this colourway usually seem to be attributed to Archimede Seguso, but I am not so sure.
Shape and mouth remind me of those (yet) unidentified striped fish with gold and silver, though the eyes are quite different >> Link (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,39711.0.html)

Thanks!
Michael

Nice fish, Michael. It looks like alabastro. I get the same feeling as you that it might not be Archimede Seguso. The label looks too new and the design reminds me of some of the more contemporary fish I see. I can't say for sure, though.
