Title: Dark green ball vase with tiny bubbles and label
Post by: mrs vulture on February 23, 2014, 11:06:59 AM
Hi,   I bought this round dark green vase on the car boot today, it's a bit more greener than the picture. Very similar to a Whitefriars green.  It's 3 inches tall (8cms) and has rows of tiny bubbles. Quite thick glass with a polished base. The label is silver and blue, it has E D A at the top and what looks like a tall tower with some clouds round it . It's a bit faded. Quite heavy.  I have looked at the labels lists but can't seem to find it. Anybody have any clue to what it might be, that label is driving me mad !!!!  thanks Cheryl

Would that be the Swedish glass works that closed in 1953? I found it in Ivos glass fact file A-Z. I had forgotten I had that book. That would give it a bit of age.    Cheryl
