Title: Kosta Boda Vase
Post by: BDG55 on March 05, 2014, 12:09:36 AM
I recently purchased this vase.  It stands 5 1/4''H x 2 1/2''W x 1 3/8''D. It is signed Kosta Boda Atelje B. Vallien 305840139.  I haven't been able to find any information on it, and the model number is not the typical one usually found on K.B. glass.  Also, I've never heard of the Atelje line.  Can anyone provide information on the piece?

Thank You
Rick

Designed by Bertil Vallien. Here is a similar vase:

Thank you Tony.  Yes, it's definitely the same vase but of course in another color.

Atelje (Atelier) means studio & are typically produced in smaller numbers. I believe the name for this design is Icarus (that's what the Black & Red varient is anyway).
