I've just been around the charity shops this morning and picked this up. I was surprised to learn, that according to the label, it's 50's - 70's. I would have guessed much later, but then what do I know?! Does anybody have any ideas please?

Having spent further time picking around the net could this be by Pavel Hlava? I now realise my photograph is not brilliant, but the tear drop shape inside is very similar.

Hi, welcome to the board!
Not Pavel Hlava -- his famous wedge shaped vases are made in the Sommerso technique (= several coloured layers of glass).
I would think your vase was made by ZBS (Železnobrodské Sklo), anytime between the 1950s and the 1980s (if the label says "made in Czechoslovakia"). ZBS are famous for their hotworked pieces, but did a lot of these single-coloured cut pieces, too.
