Hi folks!
I found some eyecatching stemware at a family run estate sale today. The family running the sale said these were bought in Italy "sometime in the 60s or 70s" nobody could remember details.
I've searched and searched and can't find anything similar anywhere.
Have any of you ever run across anything like these, and if so, can you share some info?
Many thanks! Kelli
Interesting champagnes with "freestyle" stems

Look like contemporary Polish glass to me. I think they were sold just a decorative pieces, not champagne glasses.
Edit -- Makora or Jozephina seem to be strong contenders:

I've seen ones like this sold in Tesco and TKMAXX

I think they're oil burners.
New, (contemporary) Makora or Jozephina. :)
Found in loads of gift shops and homeware stores.
I suspect your "family" are very mistaken about where they came from and when. :(

Ahhh, I see - yes, "family" often seems to make up stories at these sales, for the higher prices.
Thank you so much for the information, I guess I need to get out more, lol.

Oh yes, most definitely Makora for the red glasses, and I am certain I'll find the purple ones are by one of the two makers you suggested, mosquito and Chopin. Again thanks!
