Title: Could this be an unsigned Orrefors?
Post by: Ursa_major on March 24, 2014, 09:42:41 AM
I bought this purely on its attractive shape and clarity of glass. 24 cm tall it has 6 lobes and is very similar to the Orrefors NU 3241 but the pictures I have seen have been none too clear and in both cases they were signed / numbered. Am I completely off the mark? Can anyone help please?

Try St Louis. I had hold of one very similar in an auction lot yesterday. That one was signed 'St. Louis'. I usually get links wrong. Hope it works. If not, google images St Louis vase brings it up.

Thanks for your suggestion however my vase has no twist, the lobes run vertically up the vase.

I believe this is Magnors of Norway - Wayne has a blue one in his museum at 20th Century Glass
