Title: Is it my imagination, or has this weight been polished to death?

The profile seems way too flat to me.

What do you guys think?

Hard to tell, photo's don't really show the profile properly.  Looks Silesian to me, so could be pretty flat.  If it's in perfect condition, and I mean flawless, then I would have to suspect it has been polished, but wouldn't of said it had been done that much from those pics.

I was just thinking the same thing. Especially considering that not only this weight but several others the seller has listed look heavily polished.

I also agree with the Silesian / Bohemian origin.

I agree it looks very polished. But I am not sure it is old...the glass looks to be quite good quality, and although the canes just might be Silesian, they look quite like some modern ones I have seen by Manson, Deacons, Caithness and so on. I think it might be Scottish, post 1970.
