Title: Identify 1854 Clichy Millefiori paperweight

Hello,
Can anyone help me identify this paperweight? Is it Clichy Millefiori? Do you think the date is accurate inside?

Sorry no, this is a Murano paperweight with a spurious date added, probably around 1970's but certainly not before 1950.

Hi Cheryl

There is no single source or book that will identify all the paperweights you own (I am thinking of writing an ID book that will help, but it will not be a complete solution - that is just not possible).  There are various books that cover specific areas, but anything more than a few years old will contain errors regardless.  If you have one or two paperweights that puzzle you, I am happy to try and help if you send me images.
