Title: Blown Tubular Candle Holder?

This oddity followed me home simply because I've never seen anything like it.  Guessing it's nothing special but would love to know about it all the same.  It's roughly 8.5" wide and 5" tall.  Any ideas?  Hope the pics show enough.
