This query is for a friend from Czech Republic.
Mouthblown, cased lemonade set bearing a Reich label.
We wish to know whether Reich did such items at all, and if yes, approximate period of manufacture.

Hi Pamela,
I know you know quite a bit yourself about pre-1945 German, Austrian and Czech glass. It seems highly possible to me that this is a genuine label on the correct product. I have not seen the label before myself, but the jug on the label may even perhaps indicate a branch of Reich solely concerned with tableware type glass, which the set falls into the topic of nicely. You may know more than I Pamela, but Reich ran several factories across the region before 1945 and identifying which one may be slightly tricky depending on where it was and if any records survived. I would hazard a guess that this could be from a Reich factory. I doubt it is CMS Reich Krasno but not impossible. If the person can send images to the writer of the CMS article link posted by Rocco recently, from the Moravian museum, perhaps they may know more about this label, the article suggests that CMS made drinking glasses at least, not shown in Jindra's online CMS catalogue. Also, Jindra has an "identify me" section on his website, anyone can post there, with a label or piece and readers can post useful replies. I will check anything I have for the label too..... A really lovely set. I would have guessed 30's, at a glance. If not for export it would not have had to have had "Made in Czechoslovakia??" Maybe Dirk and other Bohemian enthusiasts can comment more! It seems that Reich produced almost any sort of glass.

So it wouldn't surprise me at all if Reich made Tango glass as well...
