Another recent purchase a real beautiful piece of glass, signed to the base.
No idea about this age or maker any help welcome.
It's 4 1/2 inches in height, no wear to the base and a snapped rough pontil, regards Chris.

Am I stating the obvious if I say the signature looks Chinese (to my eye anyway)?

I'll put a pick on right way up.

reads Exmoor to me but I thought they only made Cranberry glass

The bit you see as Ex, I see as a man struggling with a deck chair or umberella, but it might be a logo of a man at a glory-hole.
But now, I can see Exmoor in it. ???
I don't recognise the style at all.

It seems Exmoor make more than just cranberry glass (surely some diversification would be sensible), there was a dark bit on ebay very recently but I can't find it now. The Exmoor Glass website has an 'art glass' section but it does not have anything listed there yet.

Goodness me, what a coincidence! I have just mentioned that we had just celebrated our 47h wedding anniversary and this was the next thread I looked at..... this is where we spent our honeymoon, in Porlock! :)

Happy anniversary, thanks everyone for your help, regards Chris.
