Post by: bat20 on April 09, 2014, 02:14:53 PM
Hi all ,this bowl is 24 cm wd and 10.5 ht with alot of wear to the base and a polished pontil,it's the faintest of blues, mold blown with an irregular rim turned out at the top with a Greek or Roman influence to it,but i'm not saying nothing ::),any thoughts many thanks, just to add a lovely ring.

Ahh,your photography skills put mine to shame Keith lol,i was thinking Webb after paul posted the pale blue colour, but it maybe paler than that closer to Whitefriars saphire, but if yours wasn't id'd as WF that's good enough for me,has your foot got alot of wear,i guess it depends on the owner to a certain extent, any ideas on date?

Ta but my pic's are more luck than judgement, I've taken about 40 of a pair of alabaster plates, none of which turned out ! It has lots of wear and is the same size as yours have looked through some old posts but that might take some time  ::) ;D ;D
