Title: Ilkley pattern 1233 Query

I just purchased a part trinket set in the Bagley Ilkley pattern but I have a powder bowl which has a handle on the lid and is much larger than the large bowl in the set. It doesn't appear in the Bagley Book   so could someone enlighten me please ?  :)

No, but I have seen a very big one before, though I don't remember a knob

I've never seen this big one with, or without, a knob before. I wonder if Angela Bowey has seen one before?

Oooow! A mystery...I love mystery items...could it have been made by a different manufacturer perhaps ? :)

Oooh I've just checked the Bagley Glass CD (http://www.glass-time.com/orderbagleyglasscd.html) and found that Angela Bowey has a photo of a clear pot with a finial on it along with the two smaller sizes of pots without finials.... the CD text says, " A larger powder bowl with a knobbed lid was also made." So that answers my earlier question - she has seen one! :)

Ahhh!! Forgot to look at my CD well spotted Anne, so problem solved definitely Bagley. Thanks everyone ;D

I have now managed to complete my Ilkley set  I have added two large pots to balance out the Extra large one... ;D Anne you are welcome to use this pic if you wish.
